Welcome to this weeks update from the @spinvest-leo account. This wallet manages a small portion of the overall @spinvest fund, and sends HIVE back to @spinvest each week to contribute to the pool of funds for dividends. This wallet is managed by @jk6276. The main focus of this account is to generate yield to contribute to the weekly dividends for holders of SPI tokens. 50% of the income generated each week is sent to @spinvest to contribute to the weekly dividend. Primary holdings are positions in SPS liquidity pools, other BeeSwap pools, along with some Hive engine based investments.
Position changes this week:
No major changes again this week. Continuing to compound into the BXT pool, and the SPS pool. Yield has dropped a little this week, as SPS is down, and the ZING pool, while still currently our strongest position and single biggest source of yield, has also dropped a little.
To give a bit of a guide, a month or so ago, we were swapping the daily SPS income to around 10 HIVE per day, currently we are getting under 7. ZING was swapping for 12 HIVE per day, now it is 10. Not dramatic drops in either case, but contributing to a slow drop in income. All of this is to be expected, and just part of the cycles of crypto. If SPS pops back up to 3c again, this dip will reverse. ZING's yield drop is inevitable, and I am surprised that it has held up this long.
My next move will happen when the ZING external pools open up on ETH and BSC. Likely at this time, I will a portion of our funds out of the respective SPS pools on those chains, and position us into the new ZING pool (maybe only the one on ETH, maybe both (undecided yet).

Commentary:
Well, it is clear that everything is down. SPS hurts us the most, as we have a big position in it. The SPS/ETH pool was the biggest hit, as ETH also had a bad week. At least we held over $5K, which is something. 70 HIVE for dividends is still ok, although unless something changes soon, it will continue to drop. I think in the upcoming week I will just put all compounding funds into the BXT pool. I have been splitting it, but would like to build it back up quicker so lets do that this week.
Lets hope next week is better for our bags.
One thing I wanted to put in here is something I looked at last week in a reply to a comment by @roleerob.
I manage the Spinvest-leo wallet with the goal of safely generating yield to boost the SPI dividend a bit. This wallet is a small fraction of SPI (just 4% of total assets), but it generates around 18% of its income.
