This is my first post, and it certainly will not be my last.
I landed in Hive in June after re-discovering my old, and virtually unused, Steem account. How, things have changed, moved on and grown. And all for the better as far as I can see.
Once I discover something I am interested in I tend to go ‘all in’ to get a good understanding of how things work. And heck, there is so much to discover. Even after a couple of months of engagement with Hive and its apps I feel I have barely scratched the surface of what is available.
Leo Finance (https://leofinance.io) was one of the first communities that caught my attention. Here I found @spinvest. I loved the idea of an online community-based investing fund/club and have enjoyed the process of buying my SPI tokens through Leodex (https://leodex.io), the online token exchange service operated by Leo Finance.
Looking through the token information on Leodex is a great way to discover some of the other token based apps, games and services on the Hive blockchain.
I am not a great gamer but a couple of games (both still in their alpha stage of development) caught my eye.
If you want a leisurely approach to your gaming you cannot do better than brewing beer over at @cryptobrewmaster. I enjoy this game daily as it’s rather effortless and fits in well with my time at the computer. Here’s a referral link:

The game play is amazing, challenging, even difficult at first. You will be ready to face anything in real life if you can make your escape from earth in the game!
Whilst, one of my big interests is finance and investing, a big part of me is interested in wildlife and the environment. It’s great to see how much interest and content there is on Hive and I hope to add to that over time. Here’s a shout out to follow @flemingfarm. You’ll find vegetables galore and a regular output of life on the farm plus stories of bugs, bees and even snakes. Unmissable!

Just a FYI, you can post directly through Leofinance.io which helps the platform a great deal more. Also, your rewards could go up a great deal since many on Leofinance support those who use the interface with higher vote amounts.
As for what is taking place on Hive, it is exciting. So many different ways to earn right now. The fun is just about to begin. I just hit one of my quests for Aroma Hops before I put up this comment.

I was slightly puzzled that my first post was tagged Leo Finance even though I posted through Hive blog. Was that because the first listed tag in the tagline was Leo Finance or is it some other reason?
Yes whenever you post using the Leofinance tag, no matter what the interface, it will be posted on Leofinance.
It all feeds and reads the same blockchain (data).

Well, Thank you! It feels like a bit of an honor to be a part of your first post. Welcome to the fold and @spinvest is a super solid investment. There are a number of us in the homesteading/farming/agriculture realm on Hive and I have learned a good bit from many of them. There is a lot of talent and experience between the user base and various communities.
It would be hard not to mention @flemingfarm ! Every time I have a read of your blog I feel transported to your world for a short while. Thanks for sharing.
