It's exciting to see that the Hive ecosystem is starting to show promise! While it's true that we're currently a small drop in the bucket compared to other social media and gaming platforms, the potential is huge. Just imagine what it would be like to have 1 million monthly active users on Hive - that would be amazing! And it's not as far-fetched as it may seem, as many projects are taking major steps forward, such as LeoThreads, DBuzz, PsyberX, Liketu, and SpkNetwork.
What's really interesting is how these applications are starting to move to the forefront and become more user-friendly. Some are even looking to integrate traditional social media, as well as Ethereum and Bitcoin accounts, which is a major step forward. And it's not just social media - games are driving the show as well.
For example, PsyberX is using the token and NFTs from their game in a number of others, which is a new concept in gaming. They're even planning on bringing a card game to Hive, similar to Splinterlands, which would be amazing! And that's just one example - there are so many other projects working equally as hard that we don't even know about yet.
But it's not just about social media and gaming - the financial aspect of Hive is also important. In areas that are hit with currency issues and economic problems, Hive can provide a solution. For instance, the Hive group in Sucre, Venezuela is already showing the potential for Hive to make a difference. It's exciting to see what the future holds for Hive, and I can't wait to see what new developments will arise in the coming months!
I'm always a little skeptical about this because I've noticed that the barriers to entry are very high after all. It is just easier to open an account on Steam or Tiktok.
Therefore, I believe rather in slow, but steady growth.
