First, let us explain what's Zcon and why it is important to keep your eyes open on this subject.
Privacy tools have always been important since the 80s and were totally centralized by the military to send encrypted messages,However,, inthe 90s, cypherpunks started to fight against the government to decentralize the cryptography for normal users, once HTTP wasn't too face and very vulnerable to attacks and surveillance.
So in 1996, Netscape finally launched HTTPS with TLS protocol that provided encryption for normal users, taking off the massive control that the government had over society.
Why I'm telling you this? Because this is a basic example of how important privacy is and Zcash is bringing to the web3 community all of this knowledge to free society from the constant surveillance of the government and big techs

Primeiro, vamos ressaltar a importância da privacidade, explicar o que é a Zcon e porque é tão importante ficar de olho nesse assunto.
As ferramentas de privacidade sempre foram importantes desde os anos 80 e foram totalmente centralizadas pelos militares para envios de mensagens criptografadas. Porém, nos anos 90, cypherpunks (Hackers Ativistas) começaram a lutar contra o governo para descentralizar a criptografia e distribuí-la para usuários comuns, uma vez que o HTTP não era tão seguro e muito vulnerável a ataques e vigilância.
Então, em 1996, a Netscape finalmente lançou o protocolo HTTPS com SLS que fornecia criptografia para todos, tirando o controle massivo que o governo tinha sobre a sociedade.
Por que estou te contando isso? Porque este é um exemplo básico de como a privacidade é importante e engloba no trabalho que a Zcash vem fazendo nesses 6 anos na Web3 para devolver a liberdade que nos tirada. Com isso em mente, podemos começar a entender o que é a Zcon.
Zcon4: The Future Has Not Been Written.
Zcon is an event sponsored by Zcash Foundation for the public good! ZF is also opening new doors for those who want to learn and join the Zcash ecosystem to contribute and work, especially developers who want to explain their ideas for the better of privacy.
This year’s theme is “The Future Has Not Been Written.” This year ZF strive for all attendees to not only learn about updates in the ecosystem but we hope to inspire positive change within the cryptography world.
Different from the last few years, this year Barcelona was chosen to host the 4th Zcon edition, welcoming important people into the privacy ecosystem as Zooko Wilcox, Nate Wilcox, Naomi Brockwell, Paul Brigner and many others!
Zcon é um evento patrocinado e produzido pela Fundação Zcash para o bem público da privacidade! A ZF também está abrindo novas portas para quem quer aprender e se juntar ao ecossistema Zcash para contribuir e trabalhar, principalmente desenvolvedores que querem expor suas ideias para bem da privacidade.
O tema deste ano é “O futuro não foi escrito”. Este ano, a ZF se esforça para que todos os participantes não apenas aprendam sobre as atualizações no ecossistema, mas esperamos inspirar mudanças positivas no mundo da criptografia.

Zcon4 will be held in-person, at the Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona in Spain from 8:00 CEST Sunday, July 30-17:00 CEST Tuesday, August 1.
