Inflation hit another high. I am not sure why people were surprised. The last read saw a decline in the price of fuel as compared to the month before. This was not the case in May.
Have no fear. The talking points will be radically different by the end of the year. We are going to see a massive shift and those who think inflation is bad, wait until you get a massive dose of deflation.
People are going to lose a ton of money.

The surprise would have been if there was not a record high for inflation.
Talking about fuel, in the UK this week, the cost to fill the average car just hit a £100!

Yes and only going to get worse as Russian oil goes offline. From what I understand, the fields in the East only operated due to Western companies in there. They all left meaning those will be useless since they are in permafrost. Once they stop pumping, they are done.
A rough state of affairs.
