Agnes Morehead brought to life Endora, Samantha’s powerful and mischievous mother. Her teasing and meddling often created comic chaos, especially with her disapproval of Darren. Despite her playful interference, Endora deeply loved her daughter and often bestowed wisdom or mischief in equal measure. Morehead’s talent extended beyond Bewitched, earning her an Emmy Award for her work in The Wild Wild West. She died in 1974 at age 73, but her portrayal of Endora remains iconic in television history.
