So... I kinda went insane today and decided to start running other nodes in my laptop, I'll probably run out of space soon since I don't have that much space to begin with 😂

Right now I got:

  • A $AIOZ node - Which is earning me $AIOZ tokens
  • A ThetaEdge Node - So far I got no encoding jobs, but I should be rewarded $TFUEL when I get one.
  • A Chia Node - Which is still trying to catch up to the blockchain, it should reward me Chia tokens.

I also tried to run an #SPK node for 3speaks, but wasn't able to do it, I think the software hasn't been updated and is not ready for a normie like me to run it.

I really need to get myself an high end NAS with docker since I love to run these things and try new techs out.

I have no clue if Theta and Chia nodes are fully working, the Theta one is giving me warnings, only time will tell.

    That's a good way to experience and learn new things. You can buy additional storage😉 There's the VSC node too :)

    Yeah, I definitely need that extra storage, and even more I need a NAS that is able to run 24/7, unlike my laptop which the battery is kinda broken and only has 500Gb space, and if the power supply goes off, it will go off too.

    If I had one of those I would be running a lot more nodes. Sia, Akash, Render, Golem, POKT, API3, ChainLink, etc... DePin is fun to try and it rewards users that try.

      If I had hardware other than my laptop I'd love to run a few different nodes and a small Chia array, been watching Vosk on YT :)

        I was running these on my laptop 😅 . Had to quit both though, their docker implementation is seriously lacking, especially the Chia one. Their ready to use nodes are better I think, especially the Theta one, has more features then their docker version.

        Also want to get a NAS, maybe I'll go for a Synology, I like hardware ready to use. Would love to get my hands on one of those iOS servers to see how they behave, but I would have to drop quite a few Gs for that 😅
