Aglais urticae (Linnaeus, 1758)
Der kleine Fuchs ist ein Tagfalter aus der Familie der Edelfalter (Nymphalidae). Im vergangenen Jahr war er relativ spärlich zu beobachten. Ganz anders präsentiert er sich in diesem Frühling. In zahlreichen Gebieten konnte ich ihn schon beobachten. Letzten Sonntag sind mir dann auch brauchbare Bilder gelungen. Überall blüht es jetzt und es macht einfach, Spaß in der Natur unterwegs zu sein.
The small tortoiseshell is a butterfly of the family Nymphalidae. Last year it was relatively scarce to observe. This spring it presents itself quite differently. In numerous areas I could already observe him. Last sunday I was able to take some useful pictures. Everywhere it is flowering now and it makes it easy to have fun in nature.

Ein kalter Wind begleitete mich auf meiner Tour. Bei dem kühlen Wetter hatte ich nicht mit einem Schmetterling gerechnet. Als der kleine Fuchs in der Wiese sitzend hochfolg, war ich hell wach. Ich verfolgte seinen Flug in Richtung der blühenden Schwarzdornbüsche. Dort war es windgeschützt und der Falter saugte an den Blüten. Ganz langsam näherte ich mich und wurde mit den Bildern nachfolgend belohnt.
A cold wind accompanied me on my tour. In the cool weather I had not expected a butterfly. When the small tortoiseshell flew up sitting in the meadow, I was wide awake. I followed his flight towards the flowering blackthorn bushes. There it was protected from the wind and the butterfly sucked on the flowers. Very slowly I approached and was rewarded with the pictures below.

An diesem Tag hatte ich nur eine Kamera dabei und auf die zweite Kamera verzichtet. Wie man an dieser Aufnahme sehen kann, gelingen auch mit der Lumix und einem Teleobjektiv ganz brauchbare Bilder. Bei dem tollen Sonnenlicht hat es einfach nur Spaß gemacht, auch diese überall zahlreich vertretene Pflanze zu fotografieren.
On this day I had only one camera with me and did without the second camera. As you can see on this picture, even with the Lumix and a telephoto lens you can get quite useful pictures. With the great sunlight it was simply fun to take pictures of this plant, which is represented everywhere in large numbers.

This is lovely bytterfly wings with the orange color and taken some nature with flower photography.
The beautiful weather ensures that even more flowers will be added in the next few days. With the blossoms also more butterflies will come. Of course I am looking forward to this very much.
