7th July 2024 is election day in Liberland!
As we gear up for the test Congress elections, the anticipation is palpable. With the official elections just three months away, it’s time to understand why this process is crucial and how you can get involved.
Why Elect Congress?
Electing Congress members is about finding trusted Liberlanders who share your vision and empowering them with the authority and budget to bring that vision to life. This election cycle, there are seven open positions in Congress, each a vital role in shaping our future.
The Power of Congress
Congress members have the ability to propose measures that are more likely to pass than those initiated by citizens. Additionally, you can delegate your vote to your preferred Congress members, and rest assured, you can revoke this delegation at any time without any hassle.
Budget to Make a Difference
Congress has a robust budget consisting mainly of Liberland Dollars (LLD) and Liberland Merits (LLM). They can use these funds to procure services and advance Liberland’s Objectives.
