Many of my thoughts around Voluntaryism come from Facebook discussion/arguments. This post is no exception. So today, I entered into a discussion with a Libertarian (political party/statist). They were complaining the called them a token because they are a Black Libertarian, pointlessly throwing a pity party/fishing for compliments and praise. I remembered a post recently made by the person saying that not all cops were bad. I, being the questioner I am, asked them if they were indeed pro-police. They wrote about bunch of appeal to emotions saying that family member/ friends were cops and that a cop once saved her baby's life. The comments can be read here. But here is my response to the most important part of their long "justification" as to why they're a pro-police Libertarian/why they are not libertatian right here, with segments of their response I'm directly addressing in between the "// //" :

So therefore you should be anti-police, because they are paid with taxes. Taxation is theft. Extorting people for VICTIMLESS crimes like speeding running stop signs jaywalking etc is wrongdoing. Arresting people for prostitution, tax evasion, gun or drug possession, feeding the homeless; and arresting parents for homeschooling ie "just doing my job" is wrongdoing. Not to mention brutilizing and even murdering people. The cops that then don't arrest these cops are then complicit in the wrongdoing because they are paid, supposedly, to arrest wrongdoers. By not doing so, they are committing fraud for not doing their job and a double wrongdoers.

But I guess if they are your family members/ close to you and or were actually acting as decent people and saved your babies life all the wrongdoing is forgiven. So, you are a Libertarian (co-opted term for statists with light Stockholm Syndrome). No you are technically NOT a libertarian (agorist, voluntaryist, anarchist.
As a libertarian (lower case "l"), know that ALL human interactions should be consensual/voluntary. I make no exception based on relation. I'm sure their are many people that have been molested by family members that have also done nice things for them; up to the point of even saving their lives. The fact remains that that family member is still and molester.
Don't allow yourself to fall victim to this dissonant cognition.
Taxation is ALWAYS theft.
Statism is ALWAYS slavery.
Even if you erroneously believe it's just the "bare minimum" that's "necessary". Really?! No non-consensual act is necessary! I mean would you go around saying, "the "bare minimum" theft, fraud, rape, kidnapping, theft, or murder that's "necessary""?
