Not a bad read, though the indoctrination that went into it is not subtle.
If you only see this on the Left, you've been appropriately programmed.

This is the let's justification for violence outside state action. Both parties demand state violence against their enemies. On the right, I see less demands for violent action by the mob.
The biggest incidents off the top of my head are all mischaravterized, too. January 6th still looks like someone ensured open security doors and others encouraged the crowd to enter the capitol, and the government is still cagey about saying anything on these topics. We know the kidnapping plot against the Michigan governor was an FBI agent provocateur operation. Kyle Rittenhouse was the victim of a mob attack, not the instigator.
It's also lazy to say neo-nazis hate groups are connected with mainstream Republicanism. But the activist left is not so distant from the Democrats.
That said, I have been tangling with Republican fearmongersnon the topic of book bans, and their self-righteous justification for othering is just as strong. They just aren't openly calling for guillotines on social media.
It sounds like you just don't have any of the radical right in your social media. They have been calling loudly for instigating their 'race war' for over a decade.
I know the Republicans have a xenophobic streak, but I've seen more nationalism than racism. And I lived for a long time in the Idaho Panhandle when the Aryan Nations were active there. Idaho is red, but not that kind of racist. All I see in the right is border paranoia. That's bad enough, but it ain't a race war.
Meanwhile, I see regular calls for guillotines and "eat the rich" on the left, celebrations of "Louigi's Mansion," the article's mention of the Charlie Kirk assassination reactions, condemnation of Kyle Rittenhouse despite his attempt to retreat from a mob, and how the George Floyd killing started to unite everyone against police procedures until BLM made it all about race while justifying random acts of violence as "racial justice."
I'm no fan of the Republicans, but the American left constantly disgusts me in their responses to injustice and calls for identitarian violence.
The guillotine and eat the rich sentiments are pretty prevalent in right wing militia groups. Some of the groups 'on the left' that you routinely hear calling for such things may in fact be right wing groups.
I've had a lot of discussions on this now, and it seems to me that where most people tend to fall on it depends on which side of the political rainbow their crazy friends land.
So far, everyone I've talked to who feels like you feel about this topic seem to know more crazies on the left. I'm out in militia land, and most of the crazies I know are on the right. There are literally MAGA people here who cheer Charlie Kirk's assassination. This is why I see more radicalization on the right.
