Yesterday was the International Day of Peace which isn't something you would expect many countries today would celebrate given their past and present military activities around the world.
It's odd to see some actors of tyranny celebrate the observance of the day of peace when they so routinely choose to engage in the violation of basic civil liberties for millions of people. If you value peace then put your actions behind it and prove it.
We don't really need reflective statements from individuals on the importance of peace when they are busy approving violent activities that endanger millions of people and bankrupt valuable state resources along the way.
Millions of people at home in places like the US are struggling with homelessness, living in food insecure households, facing an escalating cost of living and a declining standard of living, but let's purchase a few more multi-billion war toys, shall we?
Who is paying for all of this again?...
Just recently, the US Congress approved of selling billions in weapons to Saudi Arabia and this comes after Biden previously made a commitment that the US would decrease their role in the Yemen conflict and end American support.
Have they kept up that promise? To see these perpetrators of liberty talk about peace is a slap in the face to those who truly grasp and value what it is.
