If you wanted to make license from Nepal and don’t know where to start then here are certain information for you that might help you out.
The process in brief:
- You can go into the Transportation office that is near to you and get the license form. Or you can fill the online form from DOTM website. You'll get a confirmation page along with time.
- Then take that form you got from the office or if you fill online print the confirmation page and take along your national identity card (passport/citizenship) and visit the DOTM office. The date of visit is mentioned in confirmation page.
- Your biometric details will be recorded there. Once done you'll be advised to get your eyes and blood group checked. (Eyes and blood test service is avialable near dotm office).
- Now you should pay Nrs.500 for written exam. Usually exam is next day 7:00 am. Once you pass exam you'll attended for bike trial next day. (They'll inform where to attended). Bike on rent costs Rs.50
- Once you pass trial you should visit dotm office and pay revenue Rs.1500 after 7 working days. You'll receive a payment slip along with license number. Also they'll inform about approx time to collection your license.
- Visit dotm office with slip in the time mentioned. You'll have your driving license.
Then what will be the expenditure?
First of all you need to pay 500 for exam fee. After passing written exam you will be eligible for the further procedure. Eye and blood test will cost approximately 100. Rs 50 will be the bike charge for the trial. After passing the practical test you need to pay Rs.1500 revenue.
