The one kickstarter I will never forget. Starbound got updated so few times after they raised 5 million dollars to keep adding stuff. Then they decided to add like 10k usd worth of content instead then cashed in the rest because why not.
They've added questing, some dungeons, more planet types and monster parts, besides tweaking the combat. Is that really worth so much money? Couldn't any of us do all of this within 6 months for a much smaller payment?
I'm just saying, I would do even better if someone offered me 50k. Even now, Starbound still relies on mod content to be worth playing for more than one run through.
