If you are thinking of going to the gym to keep yourself physically fit, this is the time to use your ideas. Because, research says there is no reason for you to regret going to the gym or feeling guilty.

A study by the American Cancer Society says that walking six hours per week instead of going to the gym gives a person more energy to live longer. That helps save more time.

Another report by Harvard Medical School says that walking reduces the risk of heart disease by 5 percent and the risk of death by 12 percent.

Walking a few minutes every hour or an hour for a quick walk is better than going to the gym. There is no reason to avoid feeling guilty for avoiding the gym.

According to Alpa Patel, Strategic Director of CPS-1, the American Cancer Society, who was the principal investigator of the study, walking faster than people on average gains incredible health benefits. It's easy, free and can be practiced anywhere.

But in our busy office schedule from 8am to 4pm, where we stick to the chair, where our eyes are stuck on the computer screen, we rarely get a quick walk.

The best way to build healthy habits in such a situation is to use public transport, ride the metro, leave your seat for someone else, and walk to the cab receiving station.

Researchers say that the way to stay fit and healthy can never be to carry a heavy equipment. You have to keep going. Dance, walk, walk with a pet, do whatever you like. But keep going.

The study also says that walking fast for 5 minutes every day helps improve cardiovascular and blood flow fitness, keeps bones strong, lowers fat, helps in strengthening senility and muscle strength. It helps reduce your risk of type 2 diabetes, bone loss, certain cancers and heart disease.
