Altea, Spain - A Day well Spent …

Altea is a city and municipality located in the Valencian Community, Spain, on the section of Mediterranean coast called the Costa Blanca.

Located just a few tram spots from my airbnb, this little village had some amazing views to offer.

It's popularly known for its many wonderful beaches. Especially the large city beaches are popular here, such as the beaches Playa la Roda, Nueva Playa De Altea and Platja de l'Espigó – all of them picturesque pebble beaches with top water quality.

We enjoyed a day trip, and also got to experience some amazing sunsets by the beach front.

We also spotted some fruits growing in the wild, on the list were lemons, oranges, pomegranates, and pawpaws.

It's a good place with a balance of nature and the beach. I would highly recommend a day trip here if you are ever in Alicante.
