Grats! It is nice to know there are alternatives to Micro$loth, aint it? I've been a fan and Linux user since the late 90's. It's come a looooong way since those days. My favorite Linux distros are Mint for the complete novice, and Ubuntu for the more advanced power user. It's crazy just how much more performance and speed there is on a Linux rig, compared to a M$ operating system. -on the EXACT same hardware. Just shows how inflated and bloated M$ has become over the years.
Absolutely!! Yeah, I'm on mint and trying out ubuntu studios since I'm using it mainly for content creation..
The switch from micro$loth (love it) ot Linux on my laptop clearly showed the huge improvement in performance..! I was pretty shocked..
