I wondered if you would talk about the UK age limit. People may not realise that age restrictions on kids will mean that adults need to verify themselves. What ought to happen is that the social sites should be less shit.
I'm not sure where this leaves Hive as it has no central company and anyone can create an account. I know there are some kids on here, but parents need to be aware of the risks.

I did forget to mention was Australia already has had this in effect for maybe a year I think? Idk how much the UK's legal system trends with theirs, but it's probably safe to assume their implementation will be similar.

Govt's love to make laws with no intention of enforcing them, but seeing orgs/companies fall in line to avoid the litigation risk entirely.
Brazil is definitely dead set on enforcing theirs, and even making lists of companies including Canonical(a UK company) and many US ones.
