Any Ubuntu/Linux gurus on here? I've happily using Kubuntu on my PC for years, but my son needed Windows for school stuff (and possibly games). I eventually managed to get Win10 installed, but now my Kubuntu won't boot up properly. It gets to the graphical logo, sits there pulsing for a while and then falls into 'emergency mode'. I've tried the various options that offers with no improvement. I posted details on Ask Ubuntu as that may be my best chance of help, but will put it here anyway.
That's a wierd error. I'd guess a corrupted partition. Something obviously isn't loading. If you can back up your data, just repartition and do fresh installs on the new partitions.
It's extra hassle to reinstall, but I may have to. I have to set up users for all the family each time
Check out steemit technology "Free Windows OS Alternative called ReactOS"
Hope this helps!
I'm thinking I'll just re-install Kubuntu this weekend as I've not found a workaround. Of course I'll do a backup first. Just need to set up everything again.
