True, even with government bonds these days because the return is close to zero so your money is decreasing after inflation (which is always higher in real life that what they say offficially. Here in South Africa they say the inflation is around 6%. But I think the basket they used is biased because most people are suffering from transportation and food prices that rise at more like 15 or 20 percent.

Plus for poor people these are their main costs. Due to our history of apartheid where black people were seriously oppressed and forced to live far away from cities, they still have to spend a lot of money just to get to work and earn ridiculously low wages. Glad I found you on here.

Keep your eyes on the SDR about to be issued by the International Monetary Fund (IMF). They are planning to digitize the SDR (special drawing rights) with what the are calling "accoin". This story is just coming out not. Find it at the SGT report. People in the USA won't even be able to buy it. It's so interesting it will blow your mind. Do some reaserch, you will be happy you did.
