Litecoin owners will soon be able to use the new processing service, the launch of which Litecoin Foundation announced in December 2017. This is reported by a number of media outlets.
The service assumes the issue of debit cards for users, which can be used in any compatible ATMs. According to unconfirmed reports, the cards will be issued on the Visa payment platform.
The developers say that this will allow companies to send and receive cryptocurrency immediately.
Litecoin is called "silver cryptocurrency" (if Bitcoin is taken as "gold"). This is one of the first forks of Bitcoin, which is characterized by faster and cheaper transactions.
Now this cryptocurrency is the sixth by capitalization (according to CoinMarketCap). News about the upcoming release led to the fact that according to the data on February 4, it was the only top-end cryptocurrency that showed growth.
