Perfection is constant improvement so if you are better than you where yesterday you are perfect

Human nature is chaotic. Humans connect with humans. Hiding one's humanity and trying to project an image of perfection
makes a person vague, slippery, lifeless, and uninteresting. It is actually a person's rough edges and human imperfections
that give others something to connect with.

Having to confront people is a necessary evil. I think having a strong identity about oneself and being confident helps one to be able to confront people when they are wrong and despite people being angry about you or hurting their feelings, they may actually like you for that because again, human nature is chaotic. It's never smooth.
