I am pleased to announce that The London Cryptocurrency Show is holding their next event on Saturday 20th October and I am excited to share with you an idea that I would like to propose.
Showcasing #Steemit Accounts and #Steem Projects
A few months ago I published a Blog launching the concept of #Steemfair and #Steemfair-UK.
For the ones that may have missed it, here is another chance to see the video.
Today I want to talk to you about the concept behind #Steemfair & how it can work with #Promo-Steem
A Golden Opportunity
Last Saturday saw no fewer than 42 Steemians at The London Cryptocurrency Show and we are still counting.
During the weekend I had a long chat with the Owners and Operators of The London Cryptocurrency Show about how we could develop and grow the relationship with them by leveraging the growth of #Steemit.
One thing that we talked about was for #Steemit and #Steem to have a greater presence at the next event and allow more of the #Steem Projects to showcase on their own stand.
A golden opportunity now lies ahead at The London Cryptocurrency Show in October for #Steemit Accounts and #Steem Projects to showcase their own work.

#Steemfair and #Steemfair-UK vs. #Steemfest
It should come as no great surprise to regular readers of my Blog that I am a huge fan of #Steemfest and the amazing work that @roelandp has done in putting these events on.
On Saturday I had a good chat with @roelandp and said that #Steemfest was a valuable event to bring together existing #Steemit users and for projects wishing to present their progress to the Community.
What I was hoping to do was to leverage the work that @roelandp has done by launching #Steemfair and #Steemfair-{your country} to allow #Steemit Accounts and #Steem Projects to showcase their products to new users and more importantly, Investors.
Trade fair within the framework of an existing Exhibition
The concept of having #Steemfair-UK integrated within The London Cryptocurrency Show is a bit like a trade fair within the framework of an existing Exhibition.
With nearly 2,000 visitors that passed through the door on Saturday, I am expecting the numbers in October to be considerably much higher.
With 6 months to prepare, now is the time to start planning an event like this, if this is something that the Community would like to see.
Over the next few weeks we will work on this concept, however in the meantime if there are any #Steem Projects that support this initiative and would like to have their own booth and presentation slot to showcase their Project, please leave a comment below.

Hi @stephenkendal ! Impressive to see how fast their will be another London Cryptocurrency Show, and how this time Steem will be more decentralized in more stands showing projects on top of the Steem Blockchain. This will show even more importance to Steem.
People will say, so this is @utopian-io but also Steem? They will start relating projects to Steem and ask how? I believe this is a question many new users of steem askthemselves and it helps to learn a lot.
