1. INTRODUCTION

While there are several other item list guides for Lost Eidolons, unfortunately most of them are incomplete. They are missing a number of items and do not include details on where or how to acquire them. Thus, I decided to start my own item list from scratch.

This item list is separated by category. Within each category, the first portion covers the details regarding the items (stats, description) while the second portion reveals how they can be acquired.


2. ABOUT MERCHANTS

There are three merchants available in camp - Porter, Zarvoril, and Salma. The game is also roughly split into two halves - there are significant differences in what the merchants offer in the first half of the game compared to the second half.

Porter is the first merchant to join the camp and is around the most. He primarily sells consumables. During the first half of the game, he begins by selling mostly small potions/elixirs but eventually sells medium potions/elixirs as well. During the second half of the game he starts by selling medium potions/elixirs but later on sells large ones too.

Zarvoril shows up after Porter but Zarvoril is usually around for most chapters. During the first half of the game, Zarvoril sells a static list of Common weapons, shields, grimoires, and armor. During the second half of the game, he sells a rotating list of Rare weapons, shields, grimoires, and armor. (The only Common items he still sells at this point are shields and grimoires).

Salma first shows up in Chapter 6 and only comes by every other chapter (with the exception of Chapter 16). During the first half of the game, she will sell a small variety of Rare items (weapons, shields, grimoires, armor), usually has an accessory, provides stronger consumables than what Porter offers, and also displays a variety of rapport items. During the second half of the game, Salma sells a small variety of Legendary items instead.

It seems like Salma's inventory (and that for Zarvoril during the second half of the game) is fixed and not random so it's always going to be the same for a given chapter.

Legendary Sword and Unyielding Blade have typos in that they are called Unique in their first skill when they are really Legendary.

Dragon's Dance may also require special interaction with the Behemoth using the Thunder of Venezeus during the previous battle. However, I have also received the Dragon's Dance despite not using the Thunder of Venezeus at all.

18. RAPPORT ITEMS

Rapport items can be given to other characters to improve your relationships with them. Reaching rapport levels with characters can provide larger bonuses when adjacent to them in combat, unlock new conversations, and in a few cases give you item rewards (including unique items) or unlock codex entries.

Most rapport items are ordered into one of seven categories. Most characters like two categories and you will receive a higher rapport increase if you gift them liked items. The Unique Artisanal Hesetzt Belt is in a special category and is liked by all characters.

For each of the seven main categories, there are 2 common, 2 rare, and 1 legendary item which are periodically offered for sale by Merchant Salma. At the end of the game, you can give a unique Memento Box to one of the six romanceable characters in order to unlock the associated romance ending. There are also a few additional special items which can be acquired through quests or rapport. In particular, the Crafty Thinking subquest in Chapter 19 has you select several choices which can yield one of six different types of a special rare rapport item.

The seven main categories are:

Helm: Soldier's Badge (Common), Training Spear (Common), Arming Sword (Rare), Brass Sheath (Rare), Royal Sword (Legendary). Robin can craft a Bamboo Spear (Rare) and Dahlia can give you a Throwing Knife (Rare).

Book: History of the Empire (Common), World Map (Common), Military Handbook (Rare), Monster Encyclopedia (Rare), Ancient Forbidden Texts (Legendary). Robin can craft a Wheeled Bookshelf (Rare) and Marchelle gives you Marchelle's Book (Rare).

Food: Beer (Common), Lime Cordial (Common), Alpine Fruit (Rare), Portum Honey Liqueur (Rare), Aged Pomeldan Liquor (Legendary). Robin can craft a Tableware Set (Rare).

Sculpture: Landscape Painting (Common), Wooden Flute (Common), Decorative Flowers (Rare), Wooden Lute (Rare), Statue of an Old Hero (Legendary). Robin can craft a Wooden Flute (Rare).

Gem: Leather Handicraft (Common), Pearl Broach (Common), Decorative Knife (Rare), Gilded Goblet (Rare), Bloodstone Bracelet (Legendary). Robin can craft a Wooden Knight (Rare).
