Lost Place Sweden

in #lostplace6 years ago

On our way through Sweden, we noticed some abandoned buildings. This one attracted us magically, not least because the door was open. It has something of a haunted house in the middle of the forest. The atmosphere inside is fascinating as well as depressing. The silence and loneliness in which it was brewing fascinated us. A newspaper inside gave us an approximate indication of how long it probably already is empty:

I love the angle and the way you edit your photos. It gives me the eerie vibe. It makes me want to know the story of this house.

This one is my favorite:

Is this the owner's favorite spot in the house? Did he/she use to sit there and think about her poor choices in life? Something tells me that this chair is a very important part of the house.

These are really awesome. Thank you for sharing!

Yes, you are right, the rest of the house was cold and unfriendly, but this spot has something. We made lots of pictures of it, trying out different positions.

Thanks a lot for your comment. If you are interested there are two other lost places on the blog, slightly different though.

wow looks a like horror movie set o.o

I’ve never been one to explore an abandoned place. I’ watch a few videos of others doing it. I’m always left with so many questions, Who used to live there? Why did they leave? With a bunch of other things as well.

It is kind of shocking to walk into someone else life when you see these places. Sometimes they are great time capsules and other times the vandals destroyed anything cool worth seeing by defacing it.

That place looks rather untouched by human hands. It almost looks like someone took what they could and left what they could not. That shoe in the entryway is the rather puzzling thing to be left behind.

I can feel the sad and mysterious atmosphere lingering in the photos. The place must've been radiating some spooky vibes when you took these shots? I'm a fan of horror and anything related to it. These photos may not be the usual scary but one can add a bit of imagination and create a thousand words worth of spooky in each image.

I love to stay in such an isolated place. Where no one reaches. But the one limitation I would have with this house is its safety.

Why on earth would it be abandoned for such a long time. But still I don't fear what others fear to live there. Or maybe I would stay there with my friends and we get used.

The whole inside looks old and abundoned, but the outside and location are something I really love.

Wow hammer Bilder. Per Zufall gefunden oder gezielt gesucht?

Auf jedenfall ein ganz besonderer Lostplace

Danke dir.

Wow...gives me the shivers. Seems like the perfect setting for a horror movie and also fills my mind with ideas for a good story. Hope you won't mind if I use some of your pictures?
Great photography job here...and deserving of a curie upvote too. Congrats.

Oh, thanks a lot. It was kind of scary and while wandering through the house you get even more spooky ideas about what has and could have happened here.
Nice of you to ask, yes you can use some pictures. Would you tell me which ones and what are you going to do with it?

Thank you. I like the first, third, fourth and fifth. I would love to use them for a post. The images gave me an idea for a story.

Wow great. Makes me proud that our pictures gave you ideas. I would love to read your story. Would you mention in your post from which blog you got the images, that would be awesome

Amazing shots, but so sad that it's standing empty, it looks like a really beautiful place! Makes you wonder about its history- what happened there, who it belongs to and why has it stood empty for so long.

There's something very powerful about the abandoned shoe pic.

E

Yes, you are right. And for all those questions you have there is no answer only your imagination. The first question which came to my mind the second I entered the house and saw this shoe was this: Where is the second one...?

That was a beautiful old home. It makes you wonder why it was abandoned. Was it on farmland that wasn't productive or built in to rural of area where they couldn't make a living. Funny what was left behind. Kind of makes you think that someone had bedded down there although they were not the owners. Thanks for sharing, I love old abandoned houses!

We like it too and will try to find some more on our trip. Thanks for your comment

With this kind of photo's I can not help but wonder, what has happened here? I can't say ... beautiful, but it sure are interesting photo's with a whole story in and behind them.

Viel Spass weiterhin dabei.
Beste Grüße aus Norwegen
