RE: What is Love?

After checking the wallet and seeing your memo

Your stake is being used without regard for content, I believe this goes against the ethos of Steem and create a toxic culture.

I get what you're saying and agree with you. I've been disheartened by all the vote buying bots that came out ever since randowhale. And nobody would voice their opinions due to the retaliation they would likely face for doing so... It seems like the network is not becoming more decentralized because instead of focusing on increasing the value of the network by rewarding user interactivity and engagement the large stake holders are just focused on increasing their stake.

I think the ethos of steem is almost forgotten the more this is accepted by the community.

I wonder if the people using this service have considered whether the people running these bidding bots could be using the services themselves to monopolize the distribution of voting power.

Flagged for making such ignorant implications.

What do you mean by "monopolize the distribution of voting power." ?

Nobody can monopolize voting power beyond the stake they have access to.

Monopolize meaning dominate the market by bidding excessively more than everybody else. It can be done by anybody, as it's a bidding market, but if done by the person selling the bids through a "sock-puppet" account it would cost a lot less, since they are already being paid by all the other bids.
