There are many myths and legends about this celebration. It is said that a Roman Emperor named Claudio II who did not believe in love, he believed that soldiers in love and married were not efficient, so he forbade marriages; the opposite way of what a Christian called Valentino thought.

He used to secretly married couples in love, a fact that unfortunately led him to death, since he had not obeyed the orders of the Emperor, so he was sacrificed on February 14, 270.

In honor of this day, Valentine's Day is celebrated every February 14th.

As it is possible to observe, Valentine's Day is not a celebration that came from nothing; behind this date that we celebrate each year there was a story full of love and death, but fortunately today is only a symbol of joy and celebration, a favorable date to give, please and commemorate.

Personally, I think the history of this date is something dark, but after all, this is a special day for me, since it is not only about sharing with your partner, but with everyone you love, it could be your friends as a family member. Usually, most people is used to celebrate this day with spectacular details, but beyond of all of that, I think there is nothing better than telling the people you love and appreciate how much they mean to you and how much you appreciate their company, every single day, not just a specific day of the year.
