From the point of view of the 4 elements, the current civilization on Earth is extremely unbalanced. It is strong in 3 of the 4, but woefully deficient in one. So for example, in Fire we have Industry, global powers vying with each other, the expansion of Corporations and the military industrial complex. In Air we are strong in science, technology, and although secondary, art and music still thrive. In the Earth element everybody is convinced that hard work is the path to success. Persistence and endurance is rewarded, the amassing of wealth is venerated and creating organizations which endure through time is a prime goal of the successful.
So these three elements are relatively strong (although often negative) within human society. However when it comes to the water element, human being are woefully and abysmally deficient. If we were to say the elements of Fire, Air and Earth are functioning at around 55-70%, the Water element representation is about 2-4%. The water element is at the heart of the Universal Feminine mysteries. When it is functioning well within a society, that society will reflect a state of Love, compassion, kindness, fairness, peace, beauty, healing, happiness, satisfaction and emotional fulfillment.
It is also much more than this, such as an empathy that can be one, mind and soul with anything which exists. The problem is that if the water element and thus the feminine principle was anywhere near as strong as the other 3 elements, it would mean the total annihilation of the greed, selfishness and lust for power which animates the current leaders of humanity. So it is in effect their enemy and they are scared to death of it. As a result they have done everything in their power to crush and dominate any effective expression of this feminine principle.
Within the water element is the mystery of the Oneness of all hearts, a clear perception that all souls are joined as one. That everything a single person thinks, feels and does, has a direct effect on the whole. We are all inextricably connected to the nature of this planet. Not only this world, but all planets, all realms, all dimensions and existences. This joining, this oneness, this life, is sustained by an infinite Love which flows through all things.
To directly perceive this, gaze at the vastness of the green-blue ocean, sparkling in the sunlight. Imagine you are that Ocean and you are flowing through all things in your immediate awareness. There is no separation between you and another, you are in all things. Underlying this Ocean energy, is a direct perception of this Love. This love is soothing, cooling, nurturing, nourishing, healing, blessing, protecting, purifies, creates peace, grants bliss, happiness and satisfaction and guides all things to their divine destiny. As this Ocean, you flow all these feelings throughout one single person or animal, then throughout all things.
If we wish to see a happy and peaceful world, the great challenge for human beings in this age, is to embody this energy within us, and constantly give it to all beings of the planet. Most men may have problems with this meditation, however most women can do this easily. She may already do it naturally and unconsciously with her lover.
The time has come for the return of the Feminine mysteries on Earth. This Ocean of Love meditation is a first step into these infinite and wondrous mysteries which will end the domination of the masculine fire powers and restore harmony, justice, kindness and peace. Changing the world forever.
