I truly believe that we all have the ability to love unconditionaly. Does it go against our natural humanity? Yes. But if we override that natural tendency, and work on replacing it with love, eventually that is what we will have.
We must strive to love.
Why would you love someone unconditonally? That means you can basically end up with whoever and it doesnt matter, because you hold no standards or conditions.
I didn't mean to love everyone as if they are your future life-long partner, I mean it in more of a way like this- someone cuts you off driving, and naturally you want to get mad and curse them. Instead, in the name of love we should strive to face this with optimism and love for the human behind the wheel. It is a hard thing to do! But if we strive to love, love will eventually become our second nature, instead of the seemingly inborn tendency to react with negative emotions.
Love can be simple acts such as refraining from speaking ill of others, refusing to hold grudges, becoming angry, jealous, spiteful, smiling at a stranger, etc. It does not have to be an extravagant thing that we all hope for, but rather a real driving force that allows us to make uplifting choices every minute of the day- both for ourselves and others.
