For me love is deep feeling of appreciation made by choice without regards for the person's fault, flaws and habit with the hope of drawing out the good in them and making them better persons. Jesus loves us while we were still sinners and died for us so we can be reconciled to God. He saw the bad and still loved us so we can become better.
For me, love equals hope.
When a lady loves an abusive man and still insists on staying with him it is because she hopes that one day he will stop his abuse and become a better person.
It takes decision to love. It takes commitment and sacrifice to love.It takes hope to love and it takes love to hope.
We express love by our words and actions. We express love by what we say and how we say it. It doesn't necessarily mean that we can't hurt by our words but our ability and decision to remedy the situation makes the difference.
We show love by our actions. Our act of sacrifice and giving goes a long way to speak to our loved ones. We show love by praying consistently with and for our loved ones. When we pray and speak words over them we release our hearts to heaven and they in turn in receipt of the prayers releases their hearts. When these hearts are released it bonds together in unity.
