Corona Virus - Don’t eat each other...

in #love4 years ago

Who knows what the future holds. It’s amazing how our global consciousness jumps from one hysteric to the next. Who’s fault is it? The MSM for sensationalizing everything they can for profit, or our own for our insatious desire to consume it? Maybe a mix of both?

I’m not trying to say that the Corona virus is going to be nothing to worry about in the end over all, or that it is going to be even worse than people are making it out to be.

What keeps entering my mind is that no matter what happens in the future, Corona virus and beyond we need to stay in check. Constantly. We need to remember how important it is to be civil towards one another. Unfortunately I think this falls on deaf ears mostly, and the small minority that feels the same way will fall victim to the mob. Nevertheless I will never stop trying to express my stoic perspective in the hopes it may bring at least one person back to sanity.

We are all in this together. This is a fact that stretches across every issue we face. Our lizard brain in times of hardship make us want to hoard every last resource we can get our hands on. To draw a line in the sand and threaten anyone who dare to cross it. This mentality of fight through the scarcity will end badly for all of us.

If the world burns let’s not throw each other in the fire to put off our own demise a little longer. Let’s spend our last moments feeling love and community for one another. Comforting each other with empathy during the suffering. If we make it through we will be stronger. If not. At least we left together in good conscience, and virtue. Rather than die alone with remorse.
