Learn to pick up Honey's like a Boss - From an 8 year old!

If you're one of those guys that struggle to grasp the concept of interacting with a hottie that's caught your eye, FEAR NO MORE MY FRIEND!

Meet Soren. A 8 year young expert in the field that's already KNOCKING IT OUT THE PARK! He has some hot tips to get you going and help you on your journey towards love 😉

Let's start with the picture above. In his own words... with some 'auto corrected' stuff 😁

From Paul

Just kidding

For Sienna

It's from Soren

This clever little move has two main components to it.

1) Eliminate the competition:

On face value it might sound simpler than it is. What he's done here is to eliminate the competition in a very subtle manner. This is THE KEY. You can't go out there and lambaste your competition. You won't be scoring any brownie (well, in his case chocolate brownie) points by badmouthing another party that is showing interest towards a particular lady. In the little intro section, From Paul, just kidding he has managed to highlight the fact that he's the one who is writing the letter AKA putting in the effort and not Paul.

2) Make a light hearted joke:

Here we'll be referring to the same section where Soren joked about the letter being from Paul. BOOM! Double whammy. A little light hearted joke to ease the mood. This kids got some skills!

Next, let's look at the writing. You will notice lots of words that have been scratched out. This is a clear indication that lots of thought and effort went into it. At his age, leaving it like that with the scratched out words is ok. When you're a little older though, it's recommended that you re-write it. The KEY FACTOR here is putting thought and effort into what you're writing. Even if you're having a chat online put some thought into your questions and answers. Make it meaningful and most of all, be HONEST!

You are the best girl I've ever met...

Above is a perfect example of being honest. I know this because he's been talking about Sienna for quite some time 😊

Last but not least, we'll look at the picture he drew. It's colourful, there are smiles all round and of course, hearts.

Ladies like it when you're being colourful... unless it's a Gothic honey you have your eye on. Then opt for things like black roses, dark pictures and that kinda thing. Alternatively, keep it colourful yet light. Oh, did you notice the little heart he drew in her chest? I'm sure most of the ladies have :) Attention to detail my friend, attention to detail.

As they say "The proof is in the pudding."

Well, the proof has displayed itself. Since Soren gave the letter to Sienna she has constantly been asking if they can have a playdate 😎

So there you go my single friends. Get out there, be a little bold and if you'd like, you can always ask Soren for some more tips in the comments section. Perhaps he can advise 😉

Cheers!

This is the cutest thing ever - this boy got some play hahhaa = resteeming

Awesome @alishi. I'm glad you enjoyed it :) Thanks for the resteem!

I have seen this photo/post before, with a slightly different text. His mum's?

The first photo mommy used in one of her posts :) As for the post itself, they are Entirely different, lol. Here is mum's link as a refresher :) https://steemit.com/parenting/@jusipassetti/my-son-s-1st-love-letter-and-what-it-reminded-me-about. Well I guess the photo must have left an impression since you still remember it :) So yes, it is mamma ;)

Oh yes, that super SMILE made an impression, whaha.
Both posts are funny from a mum's and dad's perspective thumbsup.gif

Lol, awesome. Nice little thumbs up sticker! I'll catch you around. Cheers :)

Haha some sage advice here for sure.

Indeed mamma, indeed ;)

Haha Soren knows very well how to do things

Haha, yeah. Indeed. Sometimes we can take a leaf from the youngsters :)

So cute, clever Soren, I like his sense of humour! Thanks for sharing this @therneau

He has such a sensitive little soul so 'hitting the nail on the head' made us really happy. He was so chuffed with himself and impressed Sienna too ;)

So cute...Could not resist an upvote even though my voting power is just about dead...

Lol, thanks @lizelle but look after your VP :)

It's like there's a magnet on that little green arrow when there's a nice comment :)

Lol, indeed!

Awwwwww... both adorable and wise...

Haha, if only you knew. He still told her once that he likes her for who she is, not the way she looks, unlike the other boys 😂

Yeah, those 8-year olds give some good advice!
Better even, Soren showed us all how to do it.
You have a great kid there, and cute too (but don't tell him I told you that,
because my almost 8 year old has told me that being cute is NOT cool anymore at that age).
My boy has amazing life skills like that too.
He has a best friend called Renata. When we jokingly say that she's his girlfriend, he gives out the biggest sigh, and says: "Renata is NOT my GIRLFRIEND!"
So one day we asked him why he always dresses up when he goes out to play with Renate, if she's not his girlfriend.
He thought about it for a while, then said:
"Well, I need to look nice because it's nice to look nice for my friends." He thought about it some more and then added: "And, when I look nice, then maybe other girls will see that too." Talk about smooth! Hahaha.

I enjoyed this post a lot. Thank you for sharing and thanks to Soren for putting a smile on my face.

Lol, thanks and I'll keep it to myself.

Another little man with a plan! haha. Gotta love these kids.

And there you have the proof in the pudding! Adults can learn so much from children! Love this post, and of course we all want to be updated about the playdate of the two young lovebirds when that has taken place.

But yeah, key here is ... HONESTY and vulnerability, and not to forget, just old-fashioned guts. Something that adults tend to forget.

Love this post!

Haha, I'm glad you enjoyed it ☺️

Yup, indeed, a couple of key points towards any successful relationship.

Well, to give you an update, they've been best friends ever since! Plenty of play dates and sleepovers later 😊

Her parents also adore Soren, but they're immigrating to New Zealand later this year 😔

Sienna's mom is already talking about flying him over there for a 2 week holiday.

So, in a nutshell (😅) , its been a wonderful relationship.

The kid is talented. Thanks for sharing.

Haha, indeed, lol.

Very nice post especially for your son. Wisdom is easy through a child's eyes.
