LETS SHOW LOVE MORE THAN WE PREACH IT.
Most times what people need is a listening ear, someone they can confide in. They just want to pour out their burden, they just want to speak out their problems. Pay good attention to them,your words of encouragement will go a long way.
Enough has been said about love, it is time we start showing love to one another regardless of our color, race, culture, individual believe etc.
I would rather pray to belong to a society where love is practical than theoretical. We preach it, from the alter on daily basis, yet we don't show it.
When believers passes through certain challenges like :
Childlessness : Church leaders and other brethren seems to see them as lukewarm Christians (perhaps they are not prayerful).
Financial crises : The first thing pastors ask is. Are you sure you are paying your tithes? Oh! My God. Are you for real Mr pastor?
Delay in breakthrough : Believers be like ;there's a sin you are hiding from God, why not confess to him.
. Sudden death : They just believe you are not at peace with God.
And many more.............. 🚶 🚶 🚶
Instead of believers praying about a challenged brethren, they turn it into gossip. I have come to realize that the best way to stay focused, is to stay connected with your God. Do not idolize any pastor, Rev or church.
Most time we ask God, Where Are You?'
Sometimes in our voyage through life, storms envelop us. The howling winds and roaring waves of adverse circumstances batter our ship, and we find ourselves fighting fear. In our darkest hour - with lightning flashing, thunder rumbling, and rain hammering our faces - we can lose our bearings and cry out, God, where are You?
The truth is, God has not left us and He never will. And if we will hold fast to His Word and believe His promises, He will calm the winds and still the waves.
Wilderness experiences are experiences that brings out the best in you. Remember for gold to come out in it purest form, it has too pass through fire 🔥 🔥. Don't expect to much from people, but be sold out to doing much for them.
When you post those pictures online, many people see the beautiful face , but what I see is the tears behind the smile. I feel your burden, sincerely I do. Don't see it like i don't care , I wish I have all it takes to stop the storm .
DON'T LET ONE MONTH PASS WITHOUT SHOWING LOVE TO SOMEONE. ALWAYS BE A BLESSING TO PEOPLE AROUND YOU. BUT DON'T FORGET THAT CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME.
