Hello steemians, am back again. So the last time I did a post on "phantom love sensation " a sad feeling of unfulfilled love.
But today I will be talking about wedding parties in Africa, Nigeria to be precise.
I happened to attend the wedding of my cousin today, what a beautiful gathering of people at various levels in the society, it was indeed glamorous.
Weddings are a public show of love and affection between two people which has probably gone unnoticed for a long time. It is a ceiling on the deal of forever when u say "I do".
I would say weddings and wedding parties are like an iceberg (beneath the ice you usually see above the sea in an iceberg, is about 2/3rd that size of ice submerged). All you see in the wedding is the glamour and beauty but beneath and behind it all is a long untold story of love; probably at first sight ; passion, a rat race involving many guys for a lady, and in some instances ladies for a guy, persivearance in the chase, a story of hurts, several hurts and the strength to forgive them all, move past them and stay on track.
In summary the wedding parties are just a happy ending to a long untold story of love. But beyond the wedding parties is a new chapter in the book of forever. 
Happy married life to my cousin and to all the newly weds. And yes yet another Saturday gone with me being single 😀
