Lovelock – proof of love on the blockchain As a symbol of eternal love, locks have been hung on bridges, bars and fences all over the world for over 100 years. The blockchain technology now makes it possible to store a virtual proof of love forever. The decentralized app Lovelock is based on the Ethereum Network and offers lovers to save their love for eternity into the blockchain.
Our DApp uses a "eternal" smart contract (without kill-function) to store the lovelock data permanent to the ethereum blockchain (https://www.lovco.in/) token. On desktop devices recommended is Metamask (www.metamask.io) or for mobile devices and smart phones Cipher (Link to Cipher). Chipher is an amazing smartphone app with integrated web3 interface. So it is also possible to create lovelocks by using your smartphone.

Of course it might be much easier for us to use established payment solutions like PayPal, but we want to support the adaption of cryptocurrencies and we believe in the technology of blockchain. Metamask has today around 900.000 users, PayPal 300.000.000. We are just on a very very early state of adaption of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. We hope our contribution will support this process a small step.
