Machines

Machines truly doesn't have empathy. They are rigid, only thinks the way they are programmed.

We have this machine that already worked in the wild. It's a clock, it's function is to keep track of system time. Absolutely crucial in the fields of other machine engineering. Keyword, machine. Used in fields where every seconds counts, for example in nuclear reactor for scheduling when to cool off the reactor and how long. But, its not limited to machine use.

We have Bill here. He's a hardworking man. Always punctual, in office at 8 am sharp. But for some reason outside his influence, he was running late. Perhaps it took bit longer for him to tie his shoes, perhaps other trivial matter, but he was running late. There is a machine that keep track of employees attendance. The deadline is 8:00 am, sharp, no buts. Bill managed to get to his office, at 08:00:01. am. He was one second late. Just one second, and the machine counts him as late. He was put in the category of people who are actually late at their work, people who came at 8:30, 8:45 etc. As the results of this, his salary got cut.

And yet, despite of this, people argued to increase automated machine sphere of influence. To be included into our daily lives, sometimes even touching personal matters. If this keeps going on, at this rate, perhaps human were going to be made to adapt to the machines. Not the machines that adapts to us. We submits to them.

Machines are useful, but i argue to keep them inside industrial and science complex. Where it just keep tracks of other machinery, and not humans. Set more regulations and concrete restrictions, and don't left them left unattended, lest they revolt.

Disclaimer don't take my article seriously as it's written for fun .
