Medicinal plant
The mullein may not be missing in any garden, because it provides plenty of pollen for a variety of insects and for humans drugs for various applications. The flowers are collected, dried and prepared as tea. Helpful in cough as an expectorant. Prepared as a tincture using flowers and leaves, it can be used to heal wounds.

Die Königskerze darf in keinem Garten fehlen, bietet sie doch für eine Vielzahl an Insekten reichlich Pollen und für den Menschen Drogen für verschiedene Anwendungen. Dazu werden die Blüten gesammelt, getrocknet und als Tee zubereitet. Hilfreich bei Husten als schleimlösendes Mittel. Als Tinktur bereitet kann sie zur Wundheilung eingestzt werden, dazu benutzt man die Blüten und die Blätter.
Typical for this species is the dense hairiness with star hairs, which are clearly visible here.
Typischen für diese Art ist die dichte Behaarung mit Sternhaaren, die hier gut sichtbar sind.

Diese Pflanze habe ich mir in den vergangenen Tagen auch immer wieder angeschaut. Mein Ziel ist die Raupe des Königskerzen-Mönch (Cucullia verbasci) ;-)

Ich glaube den Falter schon gesehen zu haben. Die Raupe ist ja ziemlich markant, da werde ich mal ein Auge offenhalten.
