Good Morning Steemit Friends
On our basic understanding, grasshoppers are common type of plant-eating insect. Believed to be the oldest living group of chewing herbivorous insects, these tiny critters have powerful hind legs and a very noticeable compound eyes.
Grasshoppers has a long relationship with humans. They have been a cause of crop devastation that leads to famine. They also have saved lives by being consumed as food.
Despite of the negativities associated with grasshoppers, they also taught us valuable life lessons
Always Move Forward
Grasshoppers can only jump forward, it can't leap backward nor sidewards. Grasshoppers tells us that in spite of all the difficulties in life, we should always move on and passed what's hindering you.
Always Vigilant
Grasshoppers has the ability to connect and understand sound vibrations. In life, we should always be vigilant on the things around us.
We may not have much good comparison of these creatures but one thing is very evident, they are all created by God.

I haven't seen any grasshopper for a long time now because there aren't any fields where I live.
