Two biggest questions I have been asked since I bought the Sienci CNC:
- Is it a difficult build?
- Does it take a long time?
Sienci Mill One is a DIY CNC router, so naturally the second stage after unboxing is to fire up the instructions and start putting it together.
The build happened off and on over a couple of days. Because I wanted my purchase to not go to waste I took my time and tried to do it right.
Check out the video to see an abridged and speeded up version of the build and see it move for the first time using jog controls.
What you going to use it for, PCB mainly?
This one will be for aluminium/MDF/plastic, but yeah PCBs too. I did get a little Chinese CNC kit for PCBs but not sure it is accurate enough 🤓
Let me know when you make stuff, I see a lot of 3D Printers getting CNC but I never figured out what benefit I'll get from it. I really want that MUSE laser.
