Wow looks like you put some work into this. Thanks for the explanation. As a noob, I didn't get the difference between steem dollars and steem.
With the USD pegging to Steem, the currency is more stable in the long run.
I've never powered down any steem power. I guess you would never want to do that unless you needed the funds, or you didn't believe in steemit any longer.
