Look around! Change is everywhere and pushing everything. Many people are making money and gaining fame by predicting the future. 
Unfortunately, I do not have the power to see the future, so any predictions I see are only based on my understanding of human behavior.
Change is very much a concept based on topic. Underwear or cryptocurrency prices... But regardless of the topic, change seems to be more common than it was in 1960. The world is spinning faster. Rather more changes occur each day.
The challenges we face today are new. Newer ones may pop up any minute. This results in a hectic lifestyle. In turn, this results in a natural search for the safety of stable and predictable situations.
Let’s focus on the price of Steem. When you started, did you expect stability? I doubt it. You probably had vision of rocket like changes moving ever upward. Well, that did not happen.
Today, you are faced with a challenge. Do you hang on for the ride of your life, or scream... “Let me off this crazy thing!”
There is no correct answer. The answer probably depends on the stability of your life outside of Steem.
Regardless, you should learn to manage the changes you face daily. You can only cope within limits.

Ya the world is changing very faster. Many people think that they will be lagged if they do not change. So, trying to change his own self. But by changing this, they lost their true identity. Change must be necessary. But do not forget your own personalities! It's not good at all. Take care sir.

Haha anyone has a 50/50 chance of getting the price of steem right. It will go up or down. I can post here daily saying steem will hit $100 one day and will either be right or wrong. Does it make me a genuis when it hits $100 one day? I think no more than if I were to guess it will go to $0 one day.
I just hope my contribution here one day will be more the time I put in to live a fulfilling life that will allow me to take care of my family without having to drive into work everyday.
It seems Steem has more downside, before the next bounce back. It is okay if the prices is around $2.
I am also like you doctor, do not have the power to see the future. Otherwise I would have invested in Bitcoin, what I have invested in Steem.

You are right about change. Our world is changing faster and faster.
I think so anyway. When I was young. We didn't have any of the modern conveniences of today. And that is going to increase even more.

The only thing that seems somewhat certain to me these days is that the rate of change is speeding up, and it's almost exponential... which begs the question "will we reach a point of maximum density where we are no longer capable of adapting to the changes we are creating for ourselves?"
