Welcome to HiranoMoe's Steemit Page!

in #manga6 years ago (edited)

HiranoMoe is opening up a Steemit page! In this first post, we'd like to explain the reason behind why we think Steemit is a necessary tool not just for us, but for other scanlation groups as well. As you know, the scanlation scene is currently (and has been for quite a while now) plagued with a content-aggregate site which collects scanlations from various groups and monetizes our supposedly-free translation through advertisement.

As we join Steemit, we hope to raise more awareness to empower our own community as well as other scanlation groups to hopefully join us to try to keep the releases localized. Steemit will provide the platform, and as we are rewarded through likes and reblogging, hopefully, scanlation groups will have enough resources (and most importantly not through donations!) not only to sustain our activities but also to do more of what we truly love: bringing good but unknown manga into the light.

For HiranoMoe, all proceedings gained from this platform through likes and reblogging will be used to maintain our website and if we have any excess, every single cent of it will go to Hirano-sensei by the purchase of his officially released Japanese version of the manga.

We appreciate all follows and comments and look forward to engaging with fellow Hirano fans!
