The scandinavian countries are using mixed economy model, which combines socialism and capitalism. The social policy of these countries is based on socialism, and they are all among the best countries to live in. In fact their social policy is admired all over the world. So some things works well in socialism, but as everything it depends on how you implement it.
My personal view is that all the major ideologies have failed, and implementing an ideology 100% will lead to disaster. Ask the poor people in clear capitalist countries how they feel about capitalism.
Since we are out of ideas, I think the middle way as you find it in the Scandinavian countries is the path to a nice society.
Btw in Copenhagen you can find a certain area where weed is legal :-p
Great answer. I actually think cryptocurrency enables us to form economic alliances and become citizens of many systems with various different models.
In this way you will get the benefits of each without the dangers of being forced geographically to be a citizen of a physical country. But that is for a generation beyond mine.
I am glad to see Bernie doing this.
