How to make "Rick Simpson's Oil" or "Phoenix Tears"

in #marijuana7 years ago

"Rick Simpson's Oil" or "Phoenix Tears" is just another name for the oil that can be extracted from cannabis. This stuff is like a miracle drug! It cures all sorts of ailments! I will do a post on that later. For now I'll show you how to make it!

This is based on one ounce of "shark shock" - good for curing cancer.

What you will need:

One ounce of the marijuana of you choice, a solvent (I prefer alcohol like vodka or everclear), a crock pot or slow cooker, some coffee filters, and something to keep the oil in (I use a syringe).

First, MAKE SURE YOU LIVE IN A PLACE WHERE IT LEGAL! Then soak the marijuana in the the agent. I used vodka but everclear is better because it has a higher alcohol content so it evaporates quicker. Try to soak it at least 24 hours to make sure you get all the oil from the plant. If you need it quick then don't worry about it.

Next grab the plant and squeeze the alcohol out of it. Then let it soak up some more of the alcohol and squeeze it out again. Do this a few times. Then put the sopping plant into a coffee filter and squeeze all the liquid out. Throw it away once you have done this. Then strain any liquid that remains through a coffee filter. You should be left with a brownish liquid. WARNING If you use your bare hands you WILL get high. So use some rubber gloves if you don't want to.

Now you are left with the pure alcohol with the oil in it. Put this into the slow cooker and turn it on medium or high. The temperature should never get above 240 degrees Fahrenheit. If it does it will lose some of its potency. BE VERY CAREFUL AT THIS STAGE! BE SURE THAT YOU DO IT IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA AND AWAY FROM ANY OPEN FIRE OR FLAMES INCLUDING SMOKING! IF NOT YOU COULD EXPLODE!

Once the alcohol evaporates you will be left with nothing but oil. I like to put the oil in a little heated saucepan so that I can keep it warm. It hardens up a little and gets thicker once it cools. By keeping it warm it allows you to extract the oil into the syringe.

Cheers!

Basiclly correct, but a rice cooker works better to remove the solvent.

Isn't a rice cooker the same?

Temp is more safely achieved with a rice cooker, less chance of error.

Oic. Thanks for the tip!

:P Speaking of which , have a 5 minute break after all that hard work :D

A friend of mine was just told by her Dr. that she has throat cancer, she is still able to eat, would she respond better to this or should she just eat the plant?
