A Wave of Destruction Against Cannabis Retailers

Now some stores are closing for who knows how long

Cannabis retailers in various regions in the United States have recently been attacked amid the ongoing civil unrest in the country. Those cannabis businesses have been looted of their goods and as a result of the concern for further conflict, now there are some regions that are closing their stores indefinitly.

One individual who owns a cannabis dispensary that was looted, claims that justice is more important than his own personal property and business, but of course he cannot make that determination for others that might also be targeted. Not everyone is likely going to be pleased with the loss in their liberty, having their things taken away and having to shut down because of criminal threats.

More than 40 cannabis dispensaries around the U.S. have been destroyed

Now in Chicago they are closing cannabis stores indefinitely, those that have not already been vandalized or looted. This will make it more difficult for people in the region to get their medicine, those who might have frequented the stores.

Around California, MedMen have closed all of their stores and they have condemned the violence and looting. Despite being against such harmful destruction, they say that they understand the tragedies that have led up to the incidents.

Tens of thousands in damages

Dispensaries in various regions have been targeted and destroyed robbed of their goods and tarnishing those dispensaries in no way helps to pursue any cause of justice.

Those saying that this is the only way to express their frustrations are only admitting cognitive defeat in declaring that they are incapable of coming up with any alternative, creative, peaceful, more effective solutions that might help them seek true justice.

Defunding those threats would arguably be a much more effective strategy to pursue.

Many individuals who use these stores, own these stores etc, have themselves been victims of police and government tyranny for decades. Harming innocent people and creating more victims only works in favor of those who abuse and perpetuate corruption and tyranny, because it takes attention away from them and their wrongdoing. Rioting and looting private businesses is never the best route to take.

Well said and sad.... these companies worked hard for years and finally get their stores up and running just to be ruined. THIS IS NOT JUSTICE!!
