Getting some top influencers on board should be a key goal. You need them in multiple areas by topic and geographically. The Tsu site gained thousands of users in Pakistan when a media personality from there signed up. Some people didn't like that as they felt too many of those users were spamming the system to try and make a few cents, so expectations need to be managed and good behaviour encouraged. We don't want to be flagging new users.
I'm excited for the future. I hope Steemit will use its resources to encourage growth and development.
