As I was browsing in steemit, one particular post caught my eyes.
That's a cool pair of shoes btw. Back to topic. This particular post caught my eyes. People can start selling their item on Steemit. It's similar how people sell stuff on Facebook. Right a post about it and people can comment.
Instead of having using FIAT currency for doing the payment, you can do use Steem or other crypto for the payment.
The question - How to super charge it?
- Title - Title is important. It's better if the title have [Steem Marketplace] tag like @pairmike did. Even better if you have [WTS] tag in your title to indicate to people that you want to sell. If I want to sell a DC Heathrow Shoe, my title would be [Steem Marketplace][WTS] DC Heathrow Shoe.
- Presentation of your post - Well this one pretty much the basic when it come to selling stuff online. Describe your product. In case of a shoe, the size, colors available, the condition of it (New or used/how old the shoe), how much your expecting for the shoe and what type of crypto you expecting, how many of them in stock (If you have more than one). Apart from that, make sure you post images of the product. Be sure to post the actual images of the product that you have instead of stock photo. Example of the post below (Exmaple using stock photo) :

- Shipping : Free
- Amount : 20 Steem / 0.1 BTC

- Shipping- Well here's the best part of having it on Steemit. You earn steem when people upvote your post. Why not use that to pay for the shipment and provide free shipping for the buyer instead of charge to them like every other retailers or seller do. Do make sure provide tracker number so buyer can track their shipment.
- Payment - The safest way to go is pay to an escrow and let the escrow release the fund once they buyer confirms that the items has arrived.
- Contact details - Sellers do provide contact information in your post so that the buyer can contact to know more about the product, payment method, special discount if has and etc.
- Update - Please provide update on the post regarding the item if it's already sold or still have few left to be purchased.
So that's about it for now. Can't wait to see the place to transform to a good marketplace and hope it disrupt traditional e-commerce sites like Amazon.

Address, real names must be hidden, some rating system, private messaging.
