Understanding is the responding to life's circumstances. Understanding is what makes people connect more to each other with having issues always. Without wasting much of your time, I will like to head straight to areas where marriages needs understanding.
Understand thyself.
You must know who you are and your purpose on earth. Whether as a single or married person. Stop looking down on yourself, stop saying things like "With the way I look, can someone still marry me?" or Will my husband still love me even with my big tummy?" You must understand that you are unique and special. Knowing who you are in Christ's guarantees your success.Understand marriage.
Marriage is a union of a man and a woman in an exclusive ordained relationship. It is a perfect union between imperfect practitioners. It isn't the means of getting what you want but meeting the needs of your spouse. Marriage is not evil, marriage is good as said in the Bible that a man will leave his father's house and go get for himself a wife which the wife also marks as a good thing.Understand your spouse.
Everybody is unique, no 2 human are different. Even identical twins have different fingerprints so take quality time to u seats don't your spouse. Ask questions. Don't assume if your spouse says or does things you don't have an idea about, ask questions. Effective communication leads to solid foundation in marriages and family peace. Low what your spouse likes and dislikes. Study your spouse and give them attention.Understand male and female differences.
Male and female have differences in their behaviours. Differences in their emotions, manner of speech etc. You must understand this differences.Understand your in-laws.
Have a right attitude towards your in-laws. Don't always look at the negative side of your in-laws. Accept them, honour and love then. You're not only married to their son/daughter but also to them. If your in-laws don't visit you, the check yourself because tomorrow you too will become someone's in-law.
Marriage is an institution created by God and God wants us to enjoy marriage. Thanks for sharing this wonderful message with us.
