Extremely inaccurate, here are just a few of the inaccuracies :
The motivation, in the comics Thanos wants to impress Mistress Death, in the movie he wants to balance the universe
The Children of Thanos do not exist in the original Infinity Gauntlet comics
Adam Warlock was the chief strategist for the heroes against Thanos, he has not been introduced yet
Silver Surfer comes crashing through the ceiling, not Hulk
Dr. Doom is recruited to help fight Thanos, he is not involved
The X-men and Fantastic 4 are involved in trying to fight Thanos, they have not been introduced
The Thanos Quest, aka the prequel to Thanos getting the Gauntlet, it’s completely different
In the Thanos Quest comics, Thanos has to defeat the Collector, The Grandmaster, the Gardener, The Champion of The Universe,The In-Betweener, and the Runner to gain be stones. Only the Collector is present in Infinity War
Eros, Thanos’ brother, watches Thanos, unwillingly, prepare to extinguish half the Universe.
Thanos imprisons and disfigured Nebula, kind of similar in IW, but much more humiliating in the comics for Nebula
Thanos uses the Guantlet to battle the cosmic entities, unfortunately that does not happen at all
Thanos becomes Eternity, one with the Universe
There are more differences but you get the gist
You should all READ THANOS QUEST, INFINITY GUANTLET AND INFINITY WAR. THEY ARE AMAZING COMICS!
