In the present day, we all know that the Moon is roofed by craters in addition to mud and particles from comets, asteroids and meteoroid impacts. We all know that the Moon’s darkish areas, referred to as maria – which is Latin for seas – aren’t really seas. As a substitute, they’re craters that lava seeped into billions of years in the past. We all know that the Moon has virtually no environment and solely about one-sixth of Earth’s gravity.
